This was shot in in 2007 in my studio using an overhead softbox and a 4-foot fluorescent lamp for the horizon light. I saw the fork in a guy's office at work and asked it I could shoot it, adding the black ball (a painted marble) as an afterthought. I shot it with my Nikon F100 using the 35mm f2.8 Nikkor lens. I picked the older fix-focal length lens to avoid the curvature distortions common to zoom lenses. Also the wide angle lens gave me the depth of field I needed to make the horizon look fairly distant.
Off hand, I can't remember the film or developer.
This is a scan of an 8x10 print on Ilford MG IV glossy RC.
